Homework
Homework will be assigned every day, and should be recorded in the student agenda daily. Daily homework assignments will be posted on the board daily. Homework will be graded on honest effort:
-Every student begins with a 100%.
-All work must be shown to receive full credit.
Late Work
All late assignments will receive partial credit.
Communication
ALL tests and quizzes are to be corrected on a separate sheet of paper, signed by the parent/guardian, and then returned to school.
Note: Corrections should be stapled to the top of the test or quiz and returned no later than 5 days after test or quiz. Corrections will not be accepted after 5 days.
Failure is NOT an option at Rolesville High School. Therefore, if a student receives a dissatisfactory grade ( 70 or below) on any math quiz or test, they must do corrections. Our goal at Rolesville High School is to instill mastery of all material, so we’re prepared to do whatever it takes to ensure that your child achieves mastery!
Tardy Policy
Students who are tardy will be issued consequences according to school guidelines.
A tardy will be recorded for each student who arrives after the official start time for each class period.
Make-up Procedures
Students are responsible for getting make-up work (after an absence) from the crate.
Bathroom Policy
Again, time in the classroom is vital! Students may not use the restroom within the first 10 minutes of class or within the last 10 minutes of class. In addition, if there is any direct instruction occurring, students should wait until independent work or group work is given.
